Job Search News!
Currently, I'm employed by Bonded Builders Warranty Group, a division of Bankers Insurance, as their FileMaker & Web Applications Developer. It's a great company that's doing well even given recent tough times in the home-bulding industry.
I'd like to think I've helped, by bringing such accomplishments as implementing their first online applications submissions system, a slick FileMaker-based document imaging system, and complex income-amortization systems.
I'm using Dreamweaver (hand coding), DHTML, JavaScript (with AJAX), with heavy emphasis on PHP development using FileMaker as a back-end.
Although I'm not actively looking for a new position, I am open to exploring new opportunities.
Never say never.
The factors that would be most appealing to me in considering a change would be:
• Working in an collaborative environment with other technologically knowledgeable people that share my enthusiasm for the potential of advanced technologies.
• Offers salary levels and advancement opportunities that show an appreciation and recognition of great work. I'm currently only entertaining offers in the $90K+ range. Since money is not my primary motivation, though, please contact me if you think you score well on other points.
• Located in or near an interesting, modern metropolitan area that offers great quality of life. New York City would be my preferred location.
• Special bonus points given for Macintosh platform and cross-platform friendly development environments.
So, although I am not looking for a change, if you think I'd like to hear about what your company is doing, feel free to contact me.
